"If you DON'T want a tighter body, don't take this class!"
~Sebastien Lagree~
Celebrity fitness instructor Sebastien Lagree
reinvents "Pilates"--taking the exercise into a
whole new direction.
(LosAngeles, CA - January 2008) Who is the man behind some
off Hollywood's hottest celebrity bodies? French Pilates instructor
Sebastien Lagree! Sebastien's roster of clients reads like
a who's who of today’s Hollywood a-list; Nicole Kidman,
Mary J. Blige, Ben Stiller, Jeremy Piven, Jennifer Aniston,
Courtney Cox, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Elizabeth Hurley, Courtney
Love, Britney Spears, Denise Richards, to name a few.
While Pilates has become the latest craze in fitness, few
understand that Joseph Pilates created traditional Pilates
over 80 years ago as a program to rehabilitate injured dancers.
While productive, his system has gone basically unchanged
until today. Now, Sebastien Lagree has reinvented the formula,
reconstructing the machines, and reinventing the workout.
Sebastien has created Systeme Dynamique™. What one would
call "Power Pilates", this NEW method is an adaptation
of Pilates, by incorporating the key principles of core stability
and blending them with fusion of muscle dynamics, has created
the next evolution of physical fitness. The method, simply
put, is the most innovative and aggressive approach to full
body conditioning.
The circuit training classes strengthens, tightens and tones
the body using a sequence of creative movements on the ProFormer™
and accessories such as weights and body bars. Sebastien carefully
guides his clients to maintain good form and breathe properly
through these intense movements. The class workout is designed
to transition smoothly from one body part to another offering
a full body workout by the end of the hour.
"Pilates was created for healing but can be perceived
as slow and boring, also, the technicality and high cost has
kept it from becoming mainstream. Our group studio classes
are a pumped-up version of Pilates, a real work out where
you sweat and burn and can see the results." Says, Sebastien,
34, who came to the United States when he wAs 17 years old.
